It's Time

Amanda knew when she turned eighteen years old that she was off to a new home. Her mother made a deal with some man in exchange for money and Amanda was pissed.
It wasn't like she had the best life with her mother, but that was all she knew. What if this man she was being sold to was a worse monster?
All she wanted was to be loved and to feel safe. She hated that she acted like a child to the point her mother hated her. That was just how she acted and watched cartoons, hopefully the man would help her or be gone where she could help herself.
