Nathan Hickey was a quiet and wealthy bachelor. As he turned eighteen, he would become an heir to a fortune, the envy of his peers. His mother was always an obedient one, while his father stood a harsh man, never condoning Nathan's obsession. His father, Warren, would eventually destroy part of his collection, sending Nathan on a downward spiral. His parents would pay the ultimate price with their lives, and five victims would become his new dolls, his live collection.
