He grabbed my hands, and placed them on his chest. I flinched a little bit, scared of what he was going to do next. I felt his heartbeat and immediately relaxed.

"You don't have to be scared anymore."

He let go of my hands and locked his arms around me. I didn't back up, or hesitate.
