They had been raised to despise each other, each of them being taught the other is not to be trusted and to keep away at all costs.
Neither child got to truly create their own opinion of the other as it was so deeply frowned upon by the others families.
Each had reputations to uphold, reputations that were too important to mess up. But when they meet each other for the first time, it proves difficult to uphold their parents expectations.
