Amy Tirouette is a shy, rich young woman, living alone in Gray City, New York and recovering from a recent accident involving a toxic waste spill. What she -- and the rest of the city -- will soon come to learn is that her accident had more ramifications than merely giving Amy superpowers... it unleashed a crazed alter-ego known as Joygirl, hidden away in Amy's subconscious for decades.
