Beasts in the Night

In the dark allies of Deathfalls, people are being viciously slayed in the streets at the midnight hour. Mordecai Black, socially inept but well meaning, faces a beast on a forested route home, and worries the creature may be behind all the mayhem. Meanwhile, lively Olivia LaVite and her roaming troop of monster hunters, headed by the morally gray Madam Gale, believe a different breed of monster is to blame.
