Story Context/ Author's Note

She stared at me, her eyes gave me no indication as to what she was thinking. I didn't make too big of a request.

After a moment her eyes turned cold, like she knew something I didn't. They flickered from mine to his for a split second. Meeting mine once again her gaze was a bit softer but still unreadable.

"I'm sorry, but Dancing alone is not an option"

But the thing I didn't know was that she wasn't sorry. She knew exactly what she was doing.
