Chapter 1

Adelaide was not your average 23 year old. She grew up with a dark past, so fighting for survival was something she was used to, but she always had her brother Frankie to help her and care for her. However, Frankie was in Atlanta when shit had hit the fan and now is nowhere to be found, leaving Adelaide alone to fend for herself. When she stumbles across a group on the highway that takes her in, will they mend her old wounds? Or create new ones?
