15 year old Mason Boyd was new to Rosedale. A small sunny town just of the coast of Oregon. Despite its bright shell, darkness runs deep in the core of the town. A simple game, played at every high school party. Tradition to welcome any new kids such as himself. A game with a board and a planchette. The rules are simple. Ask a question, get an answer. But this time, it's someone else answering. Or something. Something far more dangerous than what they've ever been faced with before. Usually, someone would move around the planchette and answer the questions in the creepiest ways possible. An easy way to spook newcomers. But when they find out no one is, the joke is on them.
