On Thin Ice

Among these looters, Sara is the odds-one-out. A sixteen year old girl, she miraculously survived a brand new strain of rage to which her family succumbed. Left all alone in the ravaged streets of Quebec, her only salvation is a small island in the middle of the Saint-Lawrence river, Grosse Isle. Once, it managed to keep the infected away. Now, she intends to turn it into her small paradise. However, nothing goes as she wishes. In the dead of winter, Em, a stranded French-Canadian, has not intention to let her squat her hide-out.
