Veronica Harrington is an enigma.

Too powerful for a wolf that was simply abandoned in the woods as a child with nothing but a blanket, and a note.

Four races exist within the Caelesti: lupi, daemones, maleficis and vampires. The First War was the cause of death for thousands and a pact was signed between the Legacies, the four oldest families of each faction, to instil peace. However, like all structures, darkness lingers, and the resistance stand for everything the elite oppose.

Veronica finds herself tangled in a war that she does not believe in, a war she does not want, a war that is not hers - or so she thinks.
