After Grayson escaped his abusive home six months ago, he and Billie have become stronger than ever. But he can't stop thinking about his old life. The more he looks back on it, the more guilty he feels for leaving his mother there.
Billie has been there for him everyday since the incident. But as she begins to rekindle old friendships and starts to consider going to university, and as Grayson tries to recover his relationship with his mother, the couple begins to lose touch.
