Prologue

"You'll never leave me right? Not ever?" She looked him straight in the eyes, bracing herself for what he would say.
"I will never ever leave you my sunflower. I didn't put that ring on your finger for no reason my dear."
Little did she know he was lying straight through his teeth. She was too gullible. Too young. Too naive. He shattered her. It was now up to her to pick up her own pieces of her shattered heart. The world was cruel and heartless. It hardens people. Makes them cruel and heartless too. Let's see how tough this cruel world will make her.
