Everyone in the village is getting ready for the coronation for the new princess. One day, the infamous King Sombra has returned keeping everyone captive including Princess Celestia and Luna and only Fluttershy was able to escape.

Fluttershy then stumbles upon someone named Rainbow Dash and the two girls including Rainbow's brother Blitz, travel back to kingdom and defeat King Sombra once and for all.
