Description
If your Pokémon companion got lost in the dark woods... would you follow after them? My feet and hands were shot by a jolt of adrenaline as the soil beneath me fell away. I caught myself from falling with a young tree, bending at my weight. Behind me I heard the distant mewls and wails of the creatures in the woods. They must have been at least 400 meters from me. Their eyes were large, and bulky as if they belonged to a bloated corpse. They scuttled like goblin-footed spiders amongst the trees. Whatever they planned to do to me was irrelevant. I needed to find my Espurr! Before me, the upward slope of hill ended. A wall of rock and bushes stood guard as if to let me circum to my fate. I wiped my thorn-scathed brow in exhaustion and bewilderment. My Espurr wouldn't let me die here.
