Lt. Kate Anderson loves the water and followed in her father's footsteps to join the Navy. She hasn't been on a ship since the day her life changed, but Carter was able to help with that.

Lt. Commander Carter Hartford lives and breathes the Navy. Of course, he didn't expect to have his heart take a liking to Kate while at the annual Navy Gala.
