The end and the beginning

Izuku's life had always been unfair. He was bullied relentlessly, denied his dream by his idol and to put the cherry on top, is rejected from UA.

In an attempt to get his life together, he realises his passion for helping people is not going to be put to use, so he finds one.

This isn't about Deku being a hero
This is about Izuku Midoriya becoming the best hero scientist in America.

Of course, we can't forget that Bakugo desperately misses his best friend.
