Megan Stark has lived her whole life as one giant lie. Granted, she does it for her own safety, she hates that she has lied to her friends, pretending to be someone isn't. Since she started school, she has gone by the name Megan DaVoe, popular, pretty, and possibly smarter than her father, Tony Stark.

Peter Parker has lived his life as a quiet kid, barely noticed by anyone but his friends Ned Leeds and Michelle Jones, and his tormentor Flash Thompson. He's smart, cute, and has just as big a secret as Megan.

When Megan and Peter are partnered up for a simple project, they quickly become friends. However, they can't help but notice the two are keeping something from each other
