Chapter One

She's a new college student with a troubled past and high walls. Lauren didn't want to fall for anyone. She didn't want to trust anybody, or become part of a group with anybody. Things fast change when her roommate Alyssa befriends her, and a mysterious boy that goes by the name of River ropes her in.
What trials will Lauren face with the new friends she's made, and what will come of her troubled past? Does Lauren have the courage to open up, or will she run from those who care for her?
