Chapter 1: Departure

When a young boy with a talent for tinkering is orphaned, he seeks out the one place that might be able to help him right the wrongs of this world. While there his talents only grow, as does his friendship with several others. Does he have what it takes to make this world where monster and magic are as common as water a better place?
