Adeline Priscila Rose Dawson is a Pogue through and through. Moving from the cut to Figure Eight wasn't going to change that. At 16 the only thing Addie has on her mind is spending the summer doing stupid things with her friends and boyfriend. When a hurricane wrecks a boat she never expected that it would lead her and her friends on a wild goose chase for gold. Addie's head is spinning with how fast everything happens and the only people that can keep her sane are her Pogue friends and her Kook boyfriend. Never did she think her summer would turn from one of surfing and drinking to a an all out fight for survival.
