Description

The idea that the truth is the best thing to speak, is ingrained in us from the very start of our development, and that lying is inherently bad - that too. But what about saying nothing at all? Many of our parents would say that if you know the truth, to speak it, but I would argue not. Sometimes the silence can be better than the truth. The silence can be eerie and can hold a grasp around your neck, but so can the truth, if it's strong enough. Friends, family and love can be lost by the telling of a truth, or the disguising of one. And when one is faced with the decision of whether to speak the truth or not - being well aware of the consequences of both sides - they generally choose the wrong one. Both are wrong, of course. The truth is bad, that is why it would've been concealed so the telling has no better impact than disguising it. The truth will out. It's just a simple question of when?
