Anne had promised to protect her baby cousin. But she couldn't keep that promise, they wouldn't let her, so with her heart as heavy as it ever was, she had to let Kitty go. Three years later, she has the kid back. But she isn't the bubbly toddler she once was. She is scared, reserved and hurt. And Anne will do everything she can to make her feel better. Cathy remembers the toddler running around her fiancée's family home's backyard, laughing. She remembers how happy she made Anne feel, how happy she made Catherine feel.
