The world has lost its only hope, the avatar. Twenty years after Avatar Korra passed away, the next avatar that must be born in the Earth Republic didn't show up.

The world was divided ever since then, it was thrown to chaos, nations divided.

Some took advantage of it, rising rebellions and abusing weaker people.
