Inspired by stories After Death and A Spider's Skull. Tragedy struck, leaving the world as we knew it a different place. The Shinigami, supposedly defeated in battle against his foes, shifting the natural balance for the worse. Honestly it was tiresome for Stein. The whole thing really......he already had enough on his plate before, keeping tabs on his madness control, only for the levels to skyrocket as the Kishin creates his own play place, spreading madness in his wake. The Witches that aided him have started to create some sort of community, enabling them to live out of their realm all the while keeping us humans on tight leashes. Too bad he's quite an unlucky bastard to find a child with.........wait...stripes? No that couldn't be.... Did Death.....did Death really give them another chance to make things right? If it was what Stein was thinking....it had to mean something right? Alright fine he'll keep the thing for now.....but if it makes a ruckus, it'll sleep outside.
