Once every generation. The Lambrooke family is visited by a demon they great ancestor brought into this world. In order for the demon to live on in the human realm it must feed on the life or lives of the one that brought it into the Human realm. However the original summoner died a long time ago so in order to stay alive the demon must feed on their descendants.
