𝓫𝓮𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓫𝓮𝓰𝓲𝓷

and i, fifteen and ferocious
sing of classmates and neighbors
young love and youthful lust
and boyfriends that won't mean a thing
when i'm seventy/dead/seven months from now

i am a speck on a cloth crimson and saffron
my existence is a gift of sacrifice and courage
beyond the border, there is brazen bravery
shown by fighting for the land you may not love wholly

such is the cruel fate of my love for poems
it began with you
and dies at your feet

no word is without meaning, no meaning is without an experience, no experience is without a lesson. i wrote these poems strictly based on personal experience and lessons learnt throughout friendships and my youth.
