Chapter 1 : A World Gone Sour

A catastrophic event sent the world dark. A "Big Bang" of sorts that caused a human disease. That disease would send the populace into a survival instinct and eventually into a world of disarray.
A married couple finds themselves amongst the worst people in the world and must find a way to live a normal life. Though they know they could never live one again.
How many more will die? How many more can they kill before they lose their sanity?
