"-my sunshine, my only sunshine," Katerina traced the soft touch of her child's face, a frown marred her face. "you make me happy when skies are grey." A wistful look entered her eyes as she cupped her daughters face, she wished everything could stay as it was, but she was Dopplegänger. It was impossible.

She was a sacrifice, meant to die in place of Amara and Tatia.

"You'll never know dear, how much I love you- please don't take my sunshine away. . ." A tear fell from her eye, leaving a trail for the other many tears to come.
