Prologue: No Escape Pod

The Doctor, Ace, and Benny find themselves aboard a Cybership on a mission for the Time Lords, the ship crashes and explodes, however, the 3 of them survive. Something is not quite right.
They travel to Shenzhen, China to solve a conspiracy, but while there they realize they don't even remember seeing any Cybermen on the cybership when they first arrived, and they start to see that reality isn't what it seems, and begin to unravel the sinister plot behind it all.
What connects a Cybership, China, and a mysterious jungle and marshland, to Gallifrey and its enigmatic deadly fate? The Doctor, Ace, and Benny find themselves in a far larger conflict than ever before. Will they make it out unharmed?
