Prologue

Kobayashi Rina. Rin for short. Some would say I'm book smart but confused, talented yet clumsy. Really clumsy. I'll trip over absolutely nothing at the worst time. Or the best time, if you enjoy face planting onto really hot boys that live in your hall and you'll have to see again every day. Well, I'm over it. They've got enough females tripping over themselves for attention without me to accidentally boost their egos. Especially Kuroo Tetsurou. His smirk could make a girl fall dead on the spot and he knows it.

As Rin begins a new life in college, she struggles with finding a life passion and her own sense of self-worth. During her journey, she meets Kuroo Tetsuro and his volleyball addict friends, and discovers a new side to each of them. And possibly a new side to herself. As her relationship with each of them deepen, so does her own admiration for the sport. In this new environment, she discovers what it means to pursue your dreams. To fall and get back up. To find her own wings to fly.

*Warnings: Slowburn, angst, comfort, swearing, eventually explicit scenes, & attempted rape (will be much later and additional trigger warning will be added at beginning of chapter).
