Abscond Academy holds the most talented students in the United States. Ryan Sutriv thinks shes not "Abscond" material and would do anything to transfer. However, snobby rich kids and dead-eye teachers are not the main reason she should change schools. It's what's hidden underneath the polished campus floors. A study-abroad program granted to the most extraordinary students in Abscond has Ryan suspicious. When Ryan, an average student with no athletic capability, is accepted into the program, she finds out that being a talented student is not a blessing, but a curse. Abscond is really a school funded by a rebellious organization, made to pinpoint the most athletic and intellectual students and draft them into military training.
