Four years have passed since the events of Undertale. Monsters and Humans live in harmony, but a new threat is on the rise. A seventeen year old Frisk has one year to spend time with their friends, before having to leave on their eighteenth birthday due to being the ambassador of humans and monsters. Reading Altertale isn't required to understand Charatale, since it is a standalone story, but I do recommend having read Altertale first, since it provides HEAVY context in the character's experience and character development. (Sidenote: Altertale is currently unfinished.) Charatale is heavily inspired from multiple Shonen Anime (Naruto, My Hero Academia, etc.) and will draw many similarities in fight scenes, and character development. I have ambitious plans for this series. Altertale was a one-off "prequel" per se, but I plan Charatale to have multiple story arcs, over 100 episodes and a sequel.
