After her mother's death Ace's father sells her to slavers from Tywinter. She meets an elf named Fenris who is also enslaved. They never saw eye to eye and yet when he is almost beaten to death she does the unthinkable to save him. Will Ace be able to get both herself and Fenris away from their master, Denarius' dark plans?
