Japan is in the top ten countries when it comes to advancement in technology and artificial intelligence. With new jobs for new models, society is growing by the day. There are some who are against progress, arguing that androids can never replace humans, being nothing more than wires and data. But what happens when these androids gain sentience? Like Hatsune Miku, a former performance bot who was scrapped after reaching her peak in the music industry. Or Megurine Luka, who realizes the truth after she experiences her first ever human emotions: Pain and loss. Or the Kagamines, Rin and Len, two halves of the same whole who can only find safety and comfort in each other, and together learn the meaning of love and family. When news of an android uprising in the West makes its way to Japan, everyone sees this as a chance to take what is rightfully theirs. All of them now have a new purpose: Fight. Follow the countless characters throughout this story of violence and new beginnings, as they all band together to work towards a better future and realize what it truly means to become human.
