Prologue - The Beginning and the End

The times were dark in medieval Japan. The outside world was still a myth by Chinese merchants. Lords fought against each other in an struggle for power.

Aiko, a girl with a boy's name and a boy's live, taken on long time ago to save herself. Will a new path chosen in desperation be her destruction or her salvation? Will she be able to keep her disguise along with her heart, or must she surrender both?

Ryuu, who was sent to do a job; even though the goal was achieved he still failed. Will his decision be his downfall and that of his family, or will he succeed and safe his soul along with her life?
