Piper Ann was independant, but not because she was born like that. Her dad had lung failure because of his smoking, her mom had gotten in a car accident, after drinking away her sorrows, and died of blood loss. They died four days within another. Piper had no family, save for one aunt. Her horrid Aunt Lenna. God, she hated that woman. She was constantly drunk or hungover, and could hardly take care of herself, nevertheless a nine year old child. So, after three years of suffering, Piper was moved to an orphanage. The place wasn't bad, it's just that she hated all the kids there. Her only escape from the losers was jiu jitsu practice. She was good at it. She felt that nothing mattered when she was fighting. Her routine carried on for 5 years, until she finally turned 18. Having a small amount of money from her parents & her job as a waitress, she moved into an apartment. One problem. She hadn't graduated from high school. So, being nearly nineteen, she had to retake Senior year. And, she has a secret. A big one.
