Description
Moira-Rose Fraser went through the stones for the first time at fifteen, discovering love, friendship and family. Fergus was her first kiss, stolen during samhain at Lallybroch, and her first love. But she gives him up, making him agree to court Marsali before she leaves for what he thinks is France. When she returns to her own time she finishes University and is left orphaned when her father dies in a car accident six years later. She falls for and gets engaged to a man who then starts to abuse her. While at a Scottish Heritage Festival in North Carolina with her fiance, she discovers a ring of stones and flees to the past to escape her abuser. Through the stones she discovers Fergus and Marsali living happily, or at least what seems that way, and promises herself that she won't come between them but unfortunately love doesn't always listen to reason.
