Alexandria Delfine was a trouble maker. So much so, that her parents shipped her off to Kildare Island in the Outer Banks to live with her uncle to "calm down and get her life together". As soon as Alexandria Delfine stepped foot in Kildare Academy on that breezy January morning, she knew her life would never be the same. She found a kindred spirit in Kiara Carrera, her classmate who no one seemed to like, though she was more real than any of those Barbie and Ken dolls Lex saw in class. When she introduced Lex to her friends, a rowdy group of boys that called themselves the Pogues, she knew right away she had found her forever friends.
