Elizabeth Romano is an Italian maid in the year 1899. After being mistreated for long enough she decides to sneak away taking a ship to an unknown territory. Elizabeth meets a fast talking, cocky newsboy who helps her in her new life. Love eventually finds its way into the twos lives. But can it last?
