That Summer

It was that summer, right before Sophomore year. He was only fifteen. He had been working with his dad and the other workers on site, but he hadn't been feeling too well. Asking his dad for the rest of the day off, insisting he'd be alright to walk home. Meeting her, and changing the course of his life forever.

Being further from his friends and more alone than he'd ever been in his life. Healing from past traumas, reconnecting with old friends, and trying to deal with all of these totally weird teen feelings.
