Kestrelpaw was the niece of her leader and mentor, Morningstar. Morningstar had become leader only one moon before Kestrelpaw was born. Kestrelpaw wanted to believe in her mentor, but there were rumors. Rumors that the death of Falconstar, Morningstar's father, wasn't all that it seemed.
