The King gathered any women that wanted to serve, and made them work for him. But their hard work wasn't just for him; it was for The Prince. The Prince lived in a castle a couple miles away from the King's palace; living with all guy servants.
The King had it this way because when The Prince was nineteen he would become King, and a Prince always needed a princess. That is why he had guy servants, so that when he came to The King's Palace he would pick a girl.
