Chapter 1 - The Cat

After an adventurous first year, Sydney Dadzie-Granger is more eager than ever to study the history of the Dadzie family and what it means to be a Powerful One - even if that is a direct defiance to Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts.

Continuing to grow under the tutelage of Minerva McGonagall and Pomona Sprout, Sydney begins to explore alternative ways of learning that will put her abilities to the test. But a peaceful year at Hogwarts does not seem to be a possibility: the Chamber of Secrets has been opened again, and students are being attacked. Sydney must find it within herself to claim her Heirship and face her fears, or risk losing everything.
