In the far future, the world is at peace... At least to the Americans.

After all the lawmaking decisions and power fell upon the President, he's been unable to help solve the problems going on in the world; war, poverty, slavery, pirates, terrorists.

So to keep the American people from panicking and acting out, he gives them dreams--sweet dreams where they're happy and life is good. And sometimes nightmares about the chaos that would ensue if they broke the rules.

But there are few who can manipulate these dreams.

They are the Lucid.
