We had been living in the house for less than a month when weird things began to happen. Noises, odd remarks from friends, the cat acting strange, you know the sort of things. At first we didn't think much of it. Figured we were watching too many horror films. But as time passed and things got progressively creepier, we started to wonder. And then we started to investigate. And then we started to understand.
