Number Eight grew up an outcast like Vanya and that brought them closer together over the years.

When the estranged number eight returns to her childhood home the others are reminded why they feared her as a child. Even Sir Reginald had feared her at one point. But she's not interested in the others, she's much more interested in her close friend Vanya. The only one she can stand to be around.

Things get complicated when their previously missing brother shows up out of the blue, 13 years old and bearing news about the world ending.
