Chapter One

Boisterous, confident, bolshie, nurse. Jo White is a young nurse working during WW1 whilst her family has been broken apart by war she is trapped as a woman at home serving the home. However when she is recruited to work alongside dishy Dr Poole in Ypres will she be able to keep her life from falling apart? Or will her strained relationship between her mother snap? Will the uncertainty of war tear apart her family?
