My first book 💗 Excerpt: Nick debated telling her he was home early, but he wasn't quite sure how to make his presence known while she was making those beautiful noises. The breathy moans were having a visible affect on him so it's not like he could knock on her door. Oh God, what if she had a man up there? It was decided, he would send a text, not at all the cowards way through this. What to say, what to say... he began typing. 'Hey there, just wanted to let you know I'm home and can hear you from my study...' No, that doesn't sound at all creepy, he furiously pressed backspace while her moans intensified, oh shit he was so affected by them the zipper of his jeans gripped him painfully. 'Hi, just FYI I'm in my study, no one else is home and I don't mind that you have a man visiting but thought it best to let you know I'm here so as not to startle you'. There, that will do, send. He thought she probably would be too involved to notice a text, but at least he'd given her a heads up, it was the decent thing to do. He settled back in to his work, ignoring the pain/pleasure of his jeans rubbing against him combined with the noise from above. The gentle 'ping' of an incoming text made him jump, she couldn't have replied surely? New message from Charlotte: 'Oh God, I'm so sorry I had no idea you were here!' Nick sighed, he'd embarrassed her, not his intention at all, he was the one who should be embarrassed at his current predicament. *Ping* New message from Charlotte: 'I don't have a man here... it's just me...' *Ping* New message from Charlotte: 'You can come see if you don't believe me' Shit. He wanted to go see what she was doing without a man to make those noises so badly. But he shouldn't, right?
