Chapter One

This shit goes bonkers, I'm telling you! After being incarcerated for a crime she didn't remember committing, Adelia Cavanaugh meets a young man and together they escape their prison. Once in the outside world that she's never really been a part of Adelia is eventually left to find her own way. With the promise of a secret society that might have answers for her and the strange abilities she has, she blindly joins and finds out that the world is far different than most people even realize. She's thrown into a whole new world of 'magic' and unnatural beings, traversing the thin line of good and evil. But is her path as simple as that? Or is there some grander game being played? One where she's been conscripted into a centuries long war...
